A Gemma Z is working for both companies as a Senior Manager.
She refuses to explain the exact nature of this relationship or whether she is an employee or consultant!  In fact  I suspect it was in error that her out of office reply to my email to her SJP address came from her email in SS&C!
Why all the secrecy and is this normal practice to give access to my investments to another company without notifying me?   I no longer have an SJP adviser I could ask as I was leaving SJP but am caught up with the property fund suspension. At least I am not paying any so called ‘advice’ fees.

Not uncommon for employees of one company to have positions in the software solution used.   I know several companies that have a similar arrangement with their software solution.

Also, a number of companies contract out call centre style work and the person at the other end will answer the phone based on the telephone number you called.

I don't blame her.  It has nothing to do with you.

Why should an employee disclose their contract of employment details to you?

Most of the companies use third parties nowadays.
