    Agree with above, there's not much to go wrong on the dial ones - when it's not working it will be obvious. 3oC is fine for the fridge, worth checking top, middle and bottom temperatures to make sure it is even throughout. Some fridge items will like it a bit cooler, others not so much.

    Some variation between the top and the bottom ( colder) and the front and back ( colder) is normal.
