Can we be charged more than the quote?

As standard, however its possible for quotes to be variable too... for example most quotes for vehicle repairs insurers receive will say its £3,000 for labour and parts at MSRP, this then protects the garage if the manufacturer changes the price of parts between the quote being created and the job being done however it gives a form of set pricing at the same time as we can always check the MSRP rather than the garage just making something up.Silver_Shark said:From internet:A quote is a legally binding, fixed price for a specific job or service, while an estimate is a rough, approximate cost based on a preliminary assessment.
What are they saying about your deposit if you arent willing to pay the additional cost? Are they proposing to return it or claiming its forfeit?Chablar said:
We never agreed to additional costs were something to change his end, and we only paid the deposit because the price was what it was. Any advice anyone can give would be fantastic.0
