Best recordable gadget for a teen who enjoys singing?

Looking for a gift for around £15-£40 if possible - I know, I'm a cheapskate but this is a moneysaving site!
Basically I have grandchildren who like to sing (and dance) and am wondering if there is a gadget that they can sing songs on/through, that records it too?
UPDATE: Needed for an iphone (or possibly an ipad)
I got them a cheap karaoke speaker with microphones at christmas but the microphones are abit hit and miss, and it doesn't record their 'masterpieces'.
The only way at the moment is to video them on my phone.
I am not looking at an all singing all dancing - pun intended
item, just something they can mess about with.

I have looked at some wireless lavalier microphones for phones, which are mini lapel-type microphones but could possibly work okay for their needs?
Trouble is, how do I sort through all the fake reviews to work out which ones are best - presumably they are all the usual foreign 'tat' judging by the 'brand names'.
I would prefer not to get it from the usual 'A' place too - as things never seem to last long.
Hoping for some good suggestions and pointers in the right direction, please

Could you get a wireless mic that would work with a smartphone to do the recording e.g.
Deal: BOYA BY-V20 Microphone Wireless for iPhone 15/16, Android, Mini Microphone, 48KHz/16Bit, 9h Use, Noise Cancelling, USB-C Lavalier Mic, Mute Mode, 360° Clip on wireless Lapel Mic for Video Recroding https://amzn.eu/d/68KBdZD
Or were you thinking of something handheld?
Alvoxcon USB Wireless Microphone, UHF Dynamic mic for Android, PC Computer, Laptop, PA, Podcasting, Vlogging, YouTube, Vocal Recording, Gaming, Singing Practice (System with USB Receiver) https://amzn.eu/d/3rydTO21 -
If you want inspiration as to what is possible with home recording, check YouTube for Josh Turner Crazy little thing called love, plus Honky Tonk Women, and with Allison Young, Crazy - Patsy Cline cover.
Caution, he is as good as it gets in terms of home recording of music and video editing. I doubt his recording equipment is in the £15 to £40 region.1 -
OP isn't clear if wanting to record to a mobi (iOS or Android) or PC. Assuming USB-C port is available on the device, something like this would work -Boyamini Wireless Lavalier Microphone for iPhone15/16 Android USB-C Plug, 2 Ultra Mini Mic with Noise Reduction, AI Voice Change, Lapel Microphone for Vlogging TikTok YouTube Content Creators : Amazon.co.uk: Musical Instruments & DJ1

Hi, thanks for all the comments so far, I will check them all out.@Vitor- it is to record to an iphone (not sure if they have ipads too). They don't have computers.I did say that I had looked at microphones for phones but admit it wasn't very prominent or clear, thanks0

@Emmia - your first link is the type of thing I have been looking at.The second link is for an Android phone, so not suitable as it would be for an iphone or possibly ipad usage.I will update the Op to highlight this more. Also, and I know because of the budget I am looking at, it is unlikely to be a known brand but the amount of unknown brands on amazon is confusing to try and pick any that might be okay and suitable. Thanks, I will look at them though as all suggestions are very welcome0

I would think a mouth gag, and good length of rope is what you're after!
Can't imagine even living next to singing and dancing kids. The neighbours husky having the occasional howl and zoomies drives me demented.
But as long as you don't tell your neighbours it was me who told you, a RockJam Singcube Bluetooth Karaoke Machine is what you're after. you can get the one with two mics from CEX second hand for about 30 bucks.
God have mercy on you though, as your neighbours will likely not.1
