Smart Parking / DCBL - Looking for guidance

Hi,

I am based in Northern Ireland, and I received a Smart parking fine, which was sent to a previous address in 2022, and I only became aware of the fine in 2023 when they started sending to my new house.

I have ignored all letters from Debt recovery plus, as the fine is nonsense, I just wasn't able to dispute it at that stage.

I havent received a letter for many months but just today got one from DCBL looking to recover the fine.

As I am based in Northern Ireland, am I right in saying I should just ignore this company, same as I did to debt recovery plus, as neither company are set up in Northern Ireland itself.

Unless of course smart parking decide to take the issue to court.

Any advice is appreciated.

Northern Ireland = safe to TOTALLY IGNORE.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, wrong term to use but I know it's a PCN, not a actual fine.

Will definitely continue to ignore them then. Thanks
