Most ins polices ask if you have factory fitted security or other devices. Not that simple though because many cars have Thatcham 1 or 2 security as standard from the factory. Some insurers word the
question to cause grey areas. Sometimes the options are Factory Fitted or Factory Fitted Thatcham 1 or 2, many will just say
it's got 4 wheels and it's blue and not have a clue on the cars spec and security level.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Insurance renewal came through, £70 cheaper than last year
Did a quote saying no to any security fitted and down another £200 -
Thanks for everyone's comments, Indeed the schedule does show endorsements, but you only get that paperwork after you have taken out and paid for the policy.
Unfortunately Yes it is a high target vehicle, But surely thats why the insurance premium reflects that?
For those wondering, a Deer ran out in front of me, whilst there i believe it was unhurt as it ran off into the bush, it set off my pedestrian safety system, which is an expensive repair.1 -

Unfortunately deers, and most animals, will typically run off as much as is practically possible even if significantly injured. Have dealt with two Exmoor Ponies that our policyholders' had hit, both reported they thought the animal was fine as it had run off, unfortunately the vet bills we got afterwards showed that they weren't.0
