Ryanair Refund Issue

Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or might be able to cast some light on my current problem….

I booked flights with Ryanair in December 2023 using their Family Plus option. I used a private relay email address via my Apple account. I paid 50% of the flights at time of booking and then was due to pay the remaining 50% before a certain date, before our trip. I completely forgot to pay the remaining 50% (assumed Ryanair would send a courtesy reminder email prior but they did not) and they therefore cancelled our flights. After an argument or two with them, rather than refunding me the 50% I paid on to the card I used, they said the £500 was on a gift voucher with Ryanair. 

Nearly 18 months later, I’m now trying to use this voucher to book a different trip. I’ve somehow managed to deactivate the private relay account associated with Ryanair and they won’t let me use the refund without using this email address. I’ve Spoken to Apple who will not reactive the private relay account for security reasons and I’ve told Ryanair this. 

Ryanair are refusing to let me use my gift voucher and now I’m stuck as what do to next? 

I’ve still got the Ryanair booking reference and the private relay email - I just can’t log in to use it anymore! Really need some help as Ryanair are being absolutely useless!!!

The original issue was due to your failure to pay the remaining 50% by the deadline.
Ryanair generously offered you a gift voucher which was linked to your alias email address.
Your email alias was then deactivated.  This is your responsibility.  Do you think you have any right or expectation of further goodwill from Ryanair?
I can see why you're unhappy but I don't believe you have any kind of claim against Ryanair.
