@Coupon-mad ,  There weren't  any more location 'photos'  apart from those posted - just a few of these"PROOF" ones as above (will upload others too), and of course photos of my friends car.

So your friend now has three things to say to POPLA as comments:

 - the landowner authority is so heavily redacted that there is nothing to say who signed it, nor any detail about what the terms/parking charge, exemptions, hours of operation etc., even are;

- the evidence shows an 11 minute 'overstay' but it is a large car park and reasonable for the Assessor to say that 11 minutes is in the region of the minimum 10 mins grace period rule, especially given the narrow lanes between bays and the roadway in/out;

- there are no evidence photos of the t&cs signs in situ in the large site, only some old 2017 images of the 'P' entrance sign. No evidence of car park t&cs, no GDPR 2018 warning about ANPR/data being taken and how it will be used (the signs would all have changed for GDPR in 2018), nothing about the risk of a parking charge is on any evidence page except a mock-up of what they say the signs said. That's not evidence.

Quick update...
The POPLA appeal we (friend and I) submitted was successful, (not so) SM4RTs signage evidence was heavily criticised (outdated/unclear evidence).  Friend is so relieved, as they are dealing with a lot of stress at the moment so the outcome of the POPLA appeal was very welcomed
