Can I assume the survey was OK?

My buyers had a level 2 survey done about 10 days ago on my property. The agent has confirmed that the solicitor has applied for the searches. I'm assuming all was acceptable otherwise we'd have heard by now? According to the surveyor's website, he turns the report round in 3-4 days with verbal feedback first.

No. Surveyors get things wrong, make mistakes in document etc etc etc.0

You can't assume anything about anyone else's decision making process, ever. Just setting your self up to be disappointed. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1

Ask your Agent to ask the Buyer if the Survey was OK? They are working for you!
Only way to possibly get an answer if you haven't got direct contact with them.0 -
Perhaps the buyers have been on holiday over half term. There's a long way to go in the process. Buy a bottle of wine and take up yoga. All sorts of curved balls maybe on their way yet.0

My buyer had the RICS survey done and it took them a month to decide they wanted some money off for a leak on the garage roof. I wouldn't assume anything as you can get flawed by something else. I was seven weeks in when the FTB had a down valuation and the 'chain' had to absorb that cost.

I would follow up and ask the question. You don't want to assume everything is ok, only for the buyer to raise an issue when it is way down the line and it would be more difficult to back out.0

"They are asking about the survey. That must be because they are petrified it has found the thus far hidden issue with xxxxxx"0
