Swapping data to new clamshell phone

For me a smartphone was a step too far so desktop PC and clamshell phone only.
Existing Doro 0260 phone is 3G so I need to replace it very soon. This will mean transferring a fairly long list of contacts and my usual younger family helpers all plead ignorance.
The only Youtube videos I can find use bluetooth to make the transfer but my phone doesn't have it.
This is my second mobile phone and I seem to remember having to transfer the data in 2 stages - some on the sim card and some from the phone's memory.
Please can anyone give me step by step instructions

Export to SIM seems best/only option, SIMs are usually OK for 50 to 100 contacts.1

Looking at the manual for this phone (seems 0260 is the internal name, Doro 6620 is what it's sold as ??)
https://www.doro.com/globalassets/inriver/resources/manual_doro_6620_en_v20r19688.pdf?srsltid=AfmBOoqseIXjgQww7r0okq2jTCMGLJD-sKT_ULcPYC2YVHV3ai383sqx
doesn't seem to show any way of exporting all of the contacts from the phone to somewhere else.
The manual says the phone does have Bluetooth, are you sure you've given the right model number? What happens when you try to follow the YouTube instructions?
You could transfer the details of each contact one by one (it uses something called the vCard standard) by email or text or Bluetooth (which the manual says you do have) but that looks tedious.
You can connect the phone to a PC and browse the files on the phone, but again the manual doesn't give specifics for exporting the contacts. Be worth looking in case it's obvious, if you could get the data down onto a PC it might be possible to upload to a new device, perhaps via a spreadsheet.
How many contacts are we talking about? If it's not a huge number then you could copy ALL your contacts onto the SIM card then move that to the new phone. The manual gives instructions for this.
Two problems I can see with this
1. Don't know the capacity for contact storage of a SIM so they may not all fit.
2. Don't know if the new phone is guaranteed to be able to read the contacts back.1 -
Try this way to transfer your contact list:
1. On Your Old Doro 0260
Open the Phonebook or Contacts menu.
Look for an option like Copy all or Move contacts.
Choose to copy contacts from phone to SIM
Wait for the process to finish.
2. On Your New Clamshell Phone
Insert your old SIM card into the new phone
Go to the Phonebook or Contacts menu.
Find the option to Copy all or Import contacts.
Select From SIM to phone.
Your contacts will now be available on the new device.
3. Not all contact details may transfer as SIM cards have limited storage fields.3 -
I cheated & got my new Doro 4G from Tescos when it was on offer a couple of months ago. But I am on a tesco PAYG. They transfered all of it for me.0

In olden days I used to keep all my contacts on the SIM so when I changed phones they all moved with the SIM.Is it an easy thing to put your contacts on the SIM?Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

On a "feature" or "dumb" phone (like the Doro) it seems to be a standard feature.
On smartphones (at least Android), I haven't seen the option to copy contacts to SIM for some years, it's not available on my Samsung running A14.0 -

Thanks flaneurs_lobster.for the link to the manual - now found bluetooth so hopefully can do the transfer relatively easily.0

Had another play and found the feature mentioned by Oldernonthewiser so transferred the phonebook to the sim.
Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions
Googled dates when 3G is going. - rolling programme, some already gone.
My provider is 1pMobile who use EE. which Google says switched 3G off in January 2004. Now wondering why my phone is still working and if I really do need a new one!0
