Sorry for the late reply it was a busy day yesterday what with free electric & harvesting some veg for freezing.Anywhoo thanks for the idea , i did come across the grow your own from supermarket fungi & doesn't seem too hard to do but i'm thinking more of a project for winter to get things started for growing outdoors next summer as a bit too much on the go already.We've eaten the 2 we picked & very nice too , yes Mrs E had some after i'd survived 24hrs0

My kids always used to make me take a picture and post it on fb so they could show the doctor what I'd eaten. I would scrump Agaricus off the school field, never sure if they were crocodilinus or spissicaulis but huge! And I had Parasols on the allotment as big as frying pans. I found the best way to cook the parasols was to break them into wedges instead of cutting, or you just got bits of gill everywhere.
