Faulty usb ports

Hi, wonder if any of you clever people could help me (creep creep!) I have a laptop with 4 usb ports which are all faulty, so any usb cables that are plugged into them are loose and the equipment plugged in (ie camera, ipod) will not connect. I have got a wireless router so i can use my internet but now i have the problem of not being able to transfer things from my camera, ipod, phone and obviously i can't use my printer.

So, in simple terms, i was wondering what the easiest and cheapest way of 'fixing' this problem would be. Is there a usb cable that has a different connector at the end which plugs into your laptop? or i have heard about a card you can buy - as you may gather i am no expert!! Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance. Nic

Assuming that you have a PCMCIA, slot one of these would sort you out.
