    10 months from offer accepted. Had to wait for the chain to build - collapse - and rebuild.

    Six months - and that was with no chain at either end.  Just us (selling a BTL flat) and our first-time buyer.

    The question is to general. There will be a difference between freehold & leasehold and the many other varieties such as Ftb, no chain, long chain, collapsed chain etc etc.
