Has anybody got any pointers where to find such a thing?
my mother in law now 81 is irish and loves the place but because she uses oxygen from time to time (less than 1 hour a day)flying is well out of her league because of the cost both onboard IF she needed it and getting it over there as well as you cant take it on an aircarft either so would have to go by boat.
The rest of the family could fly and hubby could drive them with a large car and meet up with us
any ideas on where to start looking???

We travel at least twice a year to Eire, both my parents are Irish and I love the atmosphere over there. We use a company called Irelandathome.com, who are very helpful and represent good value for money. Would your MIL prefer to go near her birthplace or visit another County? Double check on travel insurance as to what is covered and and make sure her EHIC (old E111) is up to date.
Good luck and enjoy yourself , it is a wonderful country.0 -
lots of good sites offering holiday homes.. clare is lovely, as is all of the west coast - long drive from dublin tho, 4 hrs plus

my parents are from meath, lovely county.. not very picturesque compared to some, but some great history with castles etc
lots of sites on google search offering holiday cottages there, might be better if you can decide where you want to go then narrow the search down.. you'll often find the same accomodation being offered on different sites...
