Fine for wrong car park code

Hi Everyone,
I accidentally paid to park in the wrong carpark, the carpark name came up on pay by phone but the location number was different,
They said it’s my responsibility to make sure the details are correct, when I contacted the other carpark whom I paid but didn’t park on their land for a refund they dismissed my email and said nothing they can do.

Any help appreciated.

I doubt there's anything you can do. You paid to park in car park B but didn't park there - instead parking in car park A. I assume the amount of money involved was small, so I doubt anyone would spend the time processing a refund for you1

Who issued the PCN ?
Clearly its user error if paying the incorrect location0 -
It was issued by RCP0

RCP are BPA AOS members, so you could appeal stating it was a keying error by the driver, which may result in an offer of £20 for the keying errorMagicpower said:It was issued by RCP
As for the operator you actually paid, they got a bonus1 -
Thank you, that good to know0

RCP don't do court and are usually ignored FYI.2
