Hi all, I've only just submitted a WS for DCB legal in relation to a alleged parking offense in 2022 and had this arrive through the post today.
Letter one dated 16th April 2025, reports i was informed on April 1st that i as the registered keeper was liable for the above parking charge notice, which a breach of the parking terms and conditions. I haven't received any previous letters, I've not been supplied with what terms and conditions i`ve allegedly breached.
In the same postal delivery i`ve received Letter 2 for County court claim dated 27th May. This letter does show what termsa and conditions i breached claiming i parked without a valid ticket.
My partner remembers the car park as, we paid in cash (which we struggled to find coins, hence why we remember). As we think there may of been a problem that we couldn't pay with card so i can`t prove payment and despite searching the car we don't have the ticket.
My question is, is it worthwhile appealing via parking eye portal?
Can i ask for a copy of all the car registrations on that day to show i did pay and input my car reg?
Can i simply pay the original fee on the grounds that if i had of received the initial letter i would settle the debt to avoid the process i`ve only just gone through with DCB legal in relation to euro car parks.

As you have an N1SDT Claim form, you should defend it, the chances to appeal the pcn expired a long time ago
Do the AOS online over the weekend
Then draft your defence by reading the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements3 -
Of course it's too late to appeal. You must defend the claim.

no, but the postal service is a joke!0

Regardless of the postal service issues, you still need to follow the advice here and defend it, because its a live court claim, with deadlines, the postal service issues affect nothing, its a live claim means that the clock is ticking, tempus fugitnilsac said:no, but the postal service is a joke!
Stick to the process, not personal misgivings1 -
And the claim is direct from ParkingEye, which normally means 'business', not a 'last hope' claim made via DCB Legal which will end up discontinued if dealt with properly. PE won't easily discontinue this one. It needs to be dealt with correctly. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
