I hold a provisional driving license and have a car already, I have comprehensive insurance with 1st Central. I want to practice with a relative who holds a full license, he obviously has his own insurance and I believe I'm listed on his. Do I need to adjust my cover to add him, as he'll be sitting in with me.

It would be best to check your policy details and, if not clear, phone your insurers and ask them.

However, your insurance covers you to drive the vehicle as a learner.  And as long as the supervising passenger meets the requirements (age, lebgth license held etc) then you are in accordnace with your insurance

I don't believe your  relative needs to be on your insurance.  If he has his own comprehensive insurance policy, this should provide adequate coverage if he needs to take control of your car.
But the best thing for insurance queries is to give the companies a call

I'll give them a call then. Seems that it's fine but I don't want to get into trouble before I even get my full license! Thanks for the replies.

There is no legal requirement for them to be on your insurance however it may be sensible that they are incase you get into trouble and want them to take over driving the car
