Mediation stage has been compulsory for over 18 months, so perfectly normal

Please study the 8 steps in the first post in the defence template thread in announcements that nobody seems to read

You will be listing your own local civil court in due course , it would be in person,  but they are more likely to discontinue beforehand,  so study the dcb legal thread by Umkomaas with over 710 examples

    Ignore the dcb legal stuff

You should already know and be expecting everything from the first 8 steps. Including compulsory Mediation.

  • Thank you.
I keep checking regularly and i see now that DQ sent to me on 10/12, but I havent received anything on email. Is that usually by post? I couldnt find anywhere on that site to fill it online, but want to make sure I am not missing anything.

It's by post but now you can see it has been sent, you can download a pdf version from GOV.UK, complete it on-line and send it by email. The 8-steps in the defence template has all the details.

    Hello,
I received the following email from the local court admin officer:
    "Good afternoon,
Bromley County Court has received the above case file. Unfortunately, the Defence is missing from the file. May we request that a copy be sent to us as soon as possible. Thank you in advance."

We had mediation call on 20 Feb and I was sent an email stating Mediation Not Settled
The email stated that "If not already done so. the claim will now be transferred out of our business centre to a court where standard directions will be given and you will be notified in writing of the next stages to follow. It is important that both parties follow these instructions and adhere to the timetable set down by the Court which will include a further court fee and a final hearing for determination of the matter. "

I did not receive any further correspondence from the court regarding this, so not sure what they refer to as "Defence is missing"
Is it the same that i filled up in Defence and Counterclaim form?

Thank you so much in advance

Yes, so send them ( Bromley) a copy by email of the one you submitted to the CNBC in Northampton

Many thanks @Gr1pr I've downloaded the information i submitted via moneyclaim.gov.uk and sent as an attachment to the email. Surprised that they dont have access to that system where the defence was filed. (I had only sent the N180 form via email to DQ.CNBC)

Missing paperwork happens a lot, so the court is asking the relevant party for a copy, in this case the defendant, because it was your defence that was submitted and has been misplaced by the CNBC
