Well I've got 1750 this time which is better than last. I do however have enough Merchant Gourmet dried porcini mushrooms to last me years….. I do hope they don't suggest that one to me again!

I haven't been selected this time, I'd kept the link open and tried going via history but nope. Maybe next time

Apparently selection is in part based on who regularly engages with Tesco digitally eg with the clubcard app.

I'm always checking my points balance and have had every clubcard challenge for about 18 months earning approx 40,000 points in total including my normal spend. We had a trip to Krakow that cost me about 60p as a result and this year I've already taken almost £300 off a holiday booked for next year.

I admit that sometimes I will spend more to complete a challenge but only if the points are worth it. Eg if there's a cheese challenge and I need to spend £3 to complete it for another 300 points I'll spend that £3 as it's worth £6 in partner vouchers. I'd probably have spent £2 on cheaper cheese anyway so in effect it's a £1 spend for a net gain of £5.

Don't get me wrong, I think some of the challenges aren't very good. But as you can tell I'm a massive fan of it overall. I shopped in Aldi for years but moved to Tesco a couple of years ago and subscribed to clubcard plus. I don't really like the clubcard prices thing....I just think it's a gimmick, but the 10% off 2 shops and the seperate challenges have made the switch very worthwhile.

Do a search in your emails for the 'Check out your clubcard challenges progress' from last time. Click on the link and the new challenge will open. Starts on Monday.

Mostly the same challenges as previously for us. Can only realistically have a go for 5 possibly 6. Don't drink Pepsi or Coke, and only rarely buy some of the other stuff. There will be a large pile of Cathedral City cheese acquired, hopefully we will have finished the Pilgrims Progress or whatever the other one is called soon.

Seems I've deleted any emails relating to clubcard challenge, think this is only the second one I haven't been able to do. But I think I've taken part far more times than I've been invited

You may still get another email. I usually get another one around the time or just after the challenge starts.

That said I've nearly always just used the link saved in my browser history.

I have no idea how I did in the last set of challenges.

I just received my invite to take part in the latest round of CC Challenges - starts today and runs until 13 September. We have not purchased anything from Tesco today so missed nothing by the late start.

The threshold are so high I can't see that I am really likely to get anything for extra points, but I picked ten options as it costs nothing to have a go. I certainly won't be monitoring progress or making any effort to secure points.

Oddly, though, it has let me make some selections that might allow "double-bubble":

- Food to go PLUS Naked smoothies PLUS Gym Kitchen

- Gut Health PLUS Activia

I have no doubt they have some algorithm that will only allow any purchase to accrue points for one or the other, not multiple lines together.
