Tsb two accounts two log ins

Hello.
I already  have Tsb spend and save, which l access  via online banking.

But today, I set up a second  account  (which I've created to switch another account  from) with the app.

My old account  is not visible on the app, and vice versa online, too.

Will the two accounts  be visible at some point, side by side?

Probably, providing you used exactly the same details when you opened the second account. For me they don't, as on the second occasion I omitted to use a middle name.

Each time I've open a second TSB account it's taken them two or three weeks to merge the profiles.

The most recent time, they didn't do it correctly. Although I could see both accounts in the app, I could only see the debit card details for my original account. It took two further months, and a formal complaint, before it was finally sorted.  I got £100 compensation, though.

This can last indefinitely. For me first time it required their manual intervention. Second time I just emptied it and am waiting for an opportunity to switch it for a bonus.

Possibly. I currently have 6 S&S accounts, all 6 have different logins. None have merged.

Last year I had 3 of them (all switched out now after the 6 months) and they all merged into one login.

    ...and 6 regular savers maybe?
I managed to get 2 with 2 different profiles.

If you open a new account for the switching offers, do you have to create a new profile, or can you use an existing one? Or is it better to create a new profile and then later request a merge in?

I'm not sure what you mean. You can't choose whether to create a new profile or not; you just apply for an additional account.  My experience is that TSB always create a new profile for you, and there's no way to avoid that.
