HOW TO MAKE VIDEOS AND PUT THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

​Hi Folks

I am a maths tutor and want to make videos on topis which students find most difficult.  

In the videos, I only want to show my pen, the question and workings out, plus my voice stating how to resolve the question.

Can someone kindly suggest the type of software that I should use?  Can this be done at home or would I need the services of a 'professional' ?

Have you had a look at what is already available on You Tube and free ?

Get a camera /phone stand/tripod to angle your phone where you require it to be and a good ring light in an area which clean backgrounds.

Cheap and easy options like Canva are available via Google play. They also offer templates if you wish to use them. Paid version is not expensive but much better than the free offering

If you have an engaging voice and sound enthusiastic about your subject, a simple video like the following should work:

This video has 3K views in one year (at time of post), which is not bad for an academic video, however this video is about aerodynamics which might attract a wider audience than just students of aeronautical engineering.  You might struggle to get views with plain maths with simple video techniques like this.
