Hopefully i am on the right forum board here .
not a normal wowcher shopper but am now encountering difficulty obtaing a refund -very hard ball over it .not particularly worried about that aspect as i have enough 'evidence' to eventually justify the refund.
they just make it very very hard work-is that a fair statement/experience ?
i am more interested in any general comments about wowcher and the way that they operate post purchase-as i say-seem very hard nosed.
has any one had general difficulties with them over refunds-or in the interest of balance-is that unfair .
i note there trust pilot score of 1.1 and rated 'bad' is not massively encouraging !.
i dont suppose anyone has located a direct telephone number for them -where currently they seem to respond (quickly in fairness ) with anonymous emails only (it may even be AI i am communicating with !.
any suggestions of how to deal with them from other peoples direct experiences with them appreciated.
thanks

Are you referring to to purchasing direct from Wowcher or buying from a third party using a Wowcher voucher?0

I assume you've followed their online procedure?

It depends on what point of the purchase phase you are trying to get a refund. Did you get a voucher and try and redeem it? Faulty goods? Change of mind?
Their Contact page has all sorts of ways to contact them:

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
If you bought a voucher, then if they supply it that is all they have to do. Any issues after that are with the retailer the voucher is for.Life in the slow lane0

Mt general comment is that I wouldn't expect a company that sells or gives vouchers for items or services at less than the usual price to have a particularly helpful customer service approach. Using an intermediary to save a few quid has its consequences, which often includes breaking the chain between customer and retailer and therefore reducing customers' ability to exercise their lawful rights.
Why did you buy through Wowcher rather than purchasing directly from a retailer? Price, by any chance?0 -
