Using a Blue Badge in 2 places simultaneously?

As I understand the rules, you must display the original Blue Badge and not a copy.  I would like to use my Blue Badge to park then catch a train to visit family, and also use my Blue Badge to ease my travel as a car passenger whilst I am with them.  Is this possible? (Without getting a PCN or my Badge withdrawn or similar).

As the blue badge scheme is not relevant in a private car park (it states this in the instruction book) it cannot be revoked by a private parking company as it is only a visible courtesy to them to show the vehicle is allowed to park in a disabled spot. So using a photo copy here would be preferable to say on street parking.
But a PPC has no interest in parking management only profit so they will issue a parking charge if foot patrols are done, if they see a copy.
You would then have to hold your nerve with the ensuing parking charges they will inevitably try on.

I think that's a good question and not an abuse of the system at all. However, I don't think it's possible.

I'd get a taxi to the station then use your Blue Badge with the family.

The way I see the rules as per Gov. it is either/or:-

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-blue-badge-scheme-rights-and-responsibilities-in-england/the-blue-badge-scheme-rights-and-responsibilities-in-england

"A Blue Badge will help you to park close to your destination, either as a passenger or driver."

    Who can use the badge?

The badge is for your use and benefit only. It must only be displayed if you are travelling in the vehicle as a driver or passenger, or if someone is collecting you or dropping you off and needs to park at the place where you are being collected or dropped."

Taxi or lift to the station so that you can take your blue badge with you

Asking for advice on how to abuse the system is not really on.
That was not the intention at all.  If you feel strongly about it I am willing to delete the post.

It's not an abuse if the badge holder has driven themselves to the station and needs the extra space to exit/enter the vehicle and then requires the badge when staying away, but I would agree that getting a lift/taxi (the badge can still be used while exiting the vehicle) would be the "safer" option.

There is an argument that if the car is parked in a disabled space when the holder is away for a while, that they are taking up a facility that could be used by someone else (repeatedly?). Ideally the OP getting a taxi to / from the station is probably the solution.

For clarity, the parking space I  would use is a paid long-stay space within the station car park.  There is generous blue badge parking provided, I have never seen another vehicle parked there because there are far cheaper council-run car parks near by and also free short-stay blue badge spaces at the station.  The council car parks are too far for me to walk.  £20 each way for a taxi is not affordable.

Can't see how. Otherwise how would disabled people use an accessible bay at an airport car park to go on holiday for a week?

On-street, accessible bays have no time limit.
