Many USA companies use localised domains and currencies, Amazon being one obvious example!

Amazon is in Luxembourg if you are a UK customer.

If you are a UK customer, Amazon's registered address is

London
ECA 2BA
and is registered there with Companies House Reg. no. 11049457

No help to the OP. They didn’t buy from Amazon

Pricing of products sold by meetcurve.co.uk is based upon figures calculated in U.S. Dollars (US$).....

UK companies must show their company number and registered address on their website - if you don't see these then you are not dealing with a UK company
