Had a similar AXS transfer sent to a typo’d email. What worked: get AXS to confirm in writing there were no tickets in your account and the transfer went to an invalid address, then file a PayPal complaint (not just a case). Mine was reopened and refunded. Section 75 won’t apply via PayPal, a card chargeback through your bank is possible but hit and miss.0

I had a near-identical mess with a resale site last year. PayPal wouldn’t help, and my bank said no Section 75 because I’d used PayPal. What helped: AXS emailed me a transfer log proving nothing hit my account; I sent that with a formal complaint and a letter before action to the seller’s UK office. They settled with a partial refund.0
