Boiler Installers - Boxt etc

I had a quote from Boxt for a new boiler but then I received the following email:
"
"
I have spoken with my heat pump and boiler teams this morning.
At this time, we would be unable to do an installation for you without confirmed nearby parking facilities as most engineers will not leave their vans somewhere they can not see it or easily access it from the property".
In the small print similar companies state that parking needs to be provided by the customer within 30m of the installation address.
With companies such as Boxt you pay the full amount upfront ( that is what they asked ). So what happens if they subsequently decline the contract due to " parking "? Can they deduct from the refund an administration charge or arbitrarily reduce it ?

What does the contract say happens? Have they given any indication that it wouldn't be a full refund?0

This is from an installers terms and conditions " It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure there is adequate vehicle parking for the engineer to park their van within 30 meters of the entrance to the property. Any charges for parking or permits are to be paid for and arranged by the Customer or reimbursed to the Company "
Nothing about how much they can reduce a refund.0 -
If the terms are unclear, find a recommended local installer. Mine wouldn't charge the whole amount up-front for a start. You may face the same problem with parking of course, but that's sadly an unavoidable factor and is perhaps one that might mean busy installers are happy to turn down the job or to give a high quote on the basis they don't really want the job but if they can charge a premium for it, they'll do it.0

Yes, they could make a reasonable deduction if they can show that they have actually incurred a loss.0
