Coop Bank Switch from Chase Bank

As part of switch offer to Cooperative bank, I have today mistakenly registered for online banking services and mobile app five days before the switch is due to complete on 30 May.  Do you think I will still be able to get the bonus?

I will still be depositing £1000, setting up 2 active DDs and making a minimum of 10 payments using the debit card in the 30 day period after the switch.

There's no need to wait until switch, you just have to have those things sorted no later than the 30th day after the switch completes.

Have just tried to switch banks to the Coop and they can't do it until the 17th October. Why would this be the case? I thought switches took 7 days. I rang the Coop and they said they have many applications to deal with which means they cannot do a 7 day switch and it takes nearer a month

The 7 days is the timeframe for completion, once the process starts, not the ability of the provider to actually offer a start date.
