Will the Combi Boiler Fit?

Currently in the process of switching to a combi boiler, but running into some issues with space. A reputable boiler engineer came round and confirmed that fitting a Navien combi (395mm wide) would be fine—our current boiler is 390mm wide.
I ended up ordering the same boiler through BOXT, as they were £1,200 cheaper than the quotes we received. However, after reviewing the photos, BOXT said installation wouldn’t be possible due to limited space.
Any boiler engineers here see a problem with this setup? Would a Worcester Compact (around 390mm wide) be a better fit? Any thoughts or advice appreciated.
The depth of the cupboard is around 300mm.
thanks

One option might be a Vaillant ecofit pure. Boxt fit them as well as Worcester's. Although perhaps they see some issues with that too if they haven't suggested it. Dimensions and clearances etc would need to be checked.
filter installation may be tricky
(I'm not a boiler installer but I've had several installations)

A filter is pretty much mandatory for a boiler warranty. Putting it above the boiler will cause problems with access at service time (not many engineers will want to be working off a step ladder). Under the boiler, and you'll have a big ugly lump encroaching in to valuable worktop space. One option would be to reroute the CH return through the cupboard on the right and stick the magnetic filter in there. Would cause issues when the kitchen gets a makeover and the wall units are replaced though..Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
The vaillant filter is a spiral model emptied from below. It might just fit above. Don't think a Worcester mini would have enough room to remove the magnet.
Would help to know the height of the existing boiler to know if more headroom is possible. The vaillant has top and rear flue options.0 -

You need clearance around the boiler as specified in the MI’s. Sometimes only as little as 5mm. If a combi was installed there then you’d need to run the pipes up behind it, to do this, depending on boiler, you’ll need to fit a standoff kit. So you’d need to add that to the depth of the boiler. With regard to a filter, it can be fitted in the cupboard where your HW tank currently is. Parts centre do sell compact inline filters that would fit above but boilers generally come with a filter in the box and you’ll need to fit that one for the warranty.0
