Once the solicitor has the client forms, TA forms, guarantees etc, how long would it usually take to prepare and send the draft contract?

    You can exchange in a week if a true cash buyer and your legal teams are only doing exchange of contracts etc etc no searches

    Depends on what other work is ahead in the queue. Transactions at the exchange/completion stage will take priority.
