Summer house

I want a 4x6 but a 4x4 may miss the stump but the back is a bit sloppy. But I’m sure I measured it and a 4x4 might just fit on the two slabs. So these still cost £200 and any ground work and fitting I will add a photo
Ideally it could use the two slabs as a base save money but if it’s sloppy at back of the tree stump more complicated any thoughts?

I would say 4' by 4' will be too small to be anything useful, and fudging the ground prep is asking for trouble later on.0

I would describe that as a tool store / pots. and not a Summer House . To me a Summer House is something you can walk into, it has windows.
We have something very similar to the photo - 5 ft x 3 ft. It sits on 6 slabs. It's very usefulNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Whatever you choose needs a level sound base, not worth skimping on that but it doesn't have to cost a fortune.
I've not, yet, bought from them but Powersheds seem a good company to deal with, I've had a few conversations with them checking possibilities out.
4x4 and probably 4x6 seems way too small, I think you'd regret buying that size. What are you planning to use it for?0 -
The 4X4 looks more like a phone box than a summer house. After waiting for so long, don't compromise with a 'might just fit' option.
It'll cost more to have the ground cleared and a proper base fitted, but it'll be worth it to get a useable summer house.0 -
If I had a large garden a full set of chairs but given the small space I was looking at a chair to read a book maybe a book case at most so yes I’m happy with the size as I don’t want to lose too much garden

Our summerhouse is 10' x 10', and has a settee and small tables. It's very handy for storing garden furniture over the winter.0

4ft deep, is that internal or external? Your going to lose a fair chunk of that with the frame and panelsif its the exterior size.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

The external measurement specs of the 4X4 summerhouse that OP is looking at are actually 1326mm long and 1308mm wide - which translate into old English as 4 foot 4.5 inches long, and 4 foot 3.5 inches wide.
The base will have to be bigger than this, otherwise the base fittings screws will just crumble the edges of the slabs/concrete.
Which begs the question - will the 4X 4 still fit where OP wants it to go?0
