The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for three nights, self-catering, in Eskfield at Penicuik Estate near Edinburgh. This Palladian spa house, built in 1714, offers exclusive access to a walled garden, complete with an orchard, burn and wildflower meadow – as well as lush interiors and a wall of soaring windows. There’s a dual-aspect, wood-burning stove in the sitting room and kitchen, a hot tub on the sun deck and a sauna. Meanwhile, beyond this garden sanctuary the 7,500-acre Penicuik Estate awaits – home to 12 miles of mountain-biking trails, as well as wild swimming, foraging and whisky tasting.

The prize must be taken before June 1, 2026, subject to availability and excluding bank holidays, August 1-25 and December 19-January 4.
