Chargeback dispute with Revolut

    Revolut actually said nothing, they provided no information at all.  They said that 'unfortunately we don't have dispute rights in cases like this' which explains nothing why they have rejected it without raising it with the merchant.  They didn't even raise the matter, just asked that I dispute the transaction through the app then upload the evidence. 

    I have asked the retailer for their address to return the goods but they failed to provide it, this was also shown in the documents sent to Revolut. 
    That explains that they can not take it forward. Explaining exactly why would not help you. Unless you are planning on trying again, but not telling the truth. Which they would know, as they note cases like this.

    I would have liked to understand what reason they provided that they could not pursue, they provided no details.  It was within the timeframe that VISA set and as far as I was aware I felt it met the rules that VISA publish.  Therefore I would like to know why Revolut declined it and on what basis. 

    However it is now immaterial as the BBB obtained a refund from the store and this was processed.

    As you said in your 1st post, that is the reason for no chargeback. You did not meet the criteria for a chargeback.
    Sadly while you may feel you had a case, under visa regs you do not. As your shoes were not faulty when purchased.
