Connected Alexa to Soundcore speaker.....wotked for years, then all of a sudden it won't connect. Went into Alexa app, and the speaker has disappeared from connected devices?
Tried to re-connect and "no device found", tried my phone and it connected instantly, tried Ipad, and again, connected instantly, but Alexa....."can't find device".
I seem to spend hours trying to re-connect "tech" via Bluetooththat that has previously worked fine for years.....am I missing something???

The only problem I ever get with Bluetooth is if another device is already connected. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone and iPad and see if Alexa can find the speaker then. If not, sack Alexa.

Wife occasionally has issues connecting her phone to her Fitbit and watch. Generally rebooting the phone works.

On other devices I've had to put them into pairing mode again

...don't understand  why something works for years, then suddenly decides to disconnect itself, and then refuses to re-connect when it has worked perfectly OK before???

I get issues with Alexa and the Tapo smart plugs. Alexa decides the plug is not responding and it must be faulty.

Launch the Tapo app and it sometimes works and sometimes does not. Though OK the plugs maybe faulty but using
a device without Alexa installed and just the Tapo app and the plugs work fine.

Did a sanity check and uninstalled all Amazon/Alexa apps from the device and the plugs start working again.
Seems that Alexa decides to not switch the plugs but then does not release control of them.

I would test the speaker with a device that does not have Amazon/Alexa installed.

The speaker works fine and connects instantly to my Ipad, wifes Ipad, and my mobile. Just Alexa being awkward...
