    Well all I can say is codswallop (you mentioned fish)
    Vat is 5% on domestic electricity.

    Read it as a nod to the dolphins (as in Douglas Adams "So long, and thanks for all the fish")

    Domestic AFAIK is normally vat rated at 5% and that can include communal area supplies in many blocks of flats etc.  The hmrc rules are as usual a bit complex - esp for this time of night.
    But others have had their houses on business tariffs in past - and not sure what happens then.
