Changing mind about tariff - cooling off period?
hi sorry i don't know anything about energy. I did search but couldn't find the information already in a thread.
I'm with out fox the market and my tariff comes to an end on the 7 june. Back on 20th April they sent me an email saying I could renew and I looked at the comparison site and there wasn't anything better so I signed up for the 2-year Fix'd Dual Apr25 v4.0
Seeing the news today I'm not sure that's a good deal and wonder if I can still change my mind? There's no info in the email they gave about the cooling off period but there's an MSE article saying 14 days (which obviously it's now longer than that)
But I wonder because my renew date isn't until 7th June so I'm still technically on my old tariff and the website says 'you are in your renewal window' when I look at 'switch my tarrif'?
That and I don't know if the fix I got is actually still a decent enough one that this isn't worth me worrying about? I mostly fixed as it was the same enough to what I'm paying now and that makes it easier for me to predict/budget.
Thanks.

You had 14 days from selecting the new tariff to change your mind.0

Outfox the market have been letting customers change to a newer fix without exit fees, might be worth checking to see if current fix is cheaper, if so get confirmation from them would not be charged exit fee.1
