Car at side of road after accident - salvage company refusing to collect

I was involved in an accident last week and the other driver admitted full liability.
Everything has been cohesive and transparent this far.
Car declared total write off and pay out amount advised.
Received courtesy car.
I was advised by insurer to contact Co-part to arrange collection of vehicle.
It is sitting just off the roundabout where accident occurred in a residential area.
There is plenty of space around vehicle.
Co-part have advised they will not collect vehicle due to it's location despite me sending them photos that there is plenty of space and it is safe.
Spoke to insurer who have said 'it's between you and them'
Insurer also advised that I would need to arrange a private tow truck to take the vehicle to my own address for collection at my own expense. I've been quoted £150 at the cheapest.
I asked if the third party insurer would cover this but I've been told no....and it's my responsibility to cover costs!
I did have breakdown cover with RAC but they won't help because 'its a car accident...not a breakdown'
Now as I understand, I keep the courtesy car until I've received pay out for the other vehicle.
My current attitude (due to frustration) is to just keep driving the courtesy car until someone somewhere notices I've had it a while and then applies some common sense.
I've already transferred the ownership of the vehicle online via the DVLA to the salvage company as per the advice of Acorn Assessors, so am I correct in saying the ownership is now on Co-part.
Any advice appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Who's your insure? Is there any particular name for your police (eg Admiral Gold or Admiral Essentials)? Alternatively do you have a link to your policy book?
Most policies would cover recovery of the vehicle if it's undriveable but would need to see your personal wording. If its not then it is probably something the third party insurer would consider as an uninsured loss claim if you were to approach them (they won't recover it for you but may reimburse the expense of you doing so).
The DVLA doesnt track ownership, it tracks who the registered keeper is. In most cases it required the current keeper and the new keeper to acknowledge the change... it's been too long since I dealt with these matters to remember what happens when only one side completes the process.0 -
Are you claiming through your own insurance or the third party’s insurance?0

I would have thought it would simply be a case of them covering cost but nope.... I'm being told it's my responsibility.Ell76 said:

So are you using an accident management company then with credit hire? In which case it's definitely not a courtesy car.0
