I assume that you checked with the event organisers that the tickets were transferable before you sold them.1

Out of curiosity asked our booking agent for VAT invoice on our previous RHS tickets and what they sent showed no VAT on the tickets but VAT on the fees they charged however there is a footnote stating they arent responsible for dealing with any VAT on the tickets themselves.0

Now did get an invoice from RHS that shows the entrance tickets did have VAT charged, so you should recover the VAT on your purchase and then add VAT to your customer (which will wash its face ultimately)Broken_sunflower said:Thanks DullGreyGuy. That's what I found too.
