Good morning, thanks Gers.
It's dry here, seems breezy.
Not much happening today, except that I have an ear micro suction appointment at B*ots in Durham. I'll just get the bus in. Might have a quick look round while I'm there.
Hope everyone is ok and has good days.
Take care folks.

Morning All
Dry again this morning but not sunny yet although the clouds are fairly high. I feel I've done nothing but water plants lately, school, allotments and garden. I put washing out at 5.45 yesterday afternoon and it was all dry by 8pm.
Nothing much going on here, nice and quiet, even work was a bit slow yesterday but I'm sure that will change today. We have a long weekend so just today and tomorrow then Friday and Monday off.
Hope you're all ok and can enjoy some sunshine. Take care. XX14 -
Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers.
Looks dull out this morning, still no rain, garden is so dry.
Defrosted, cleaned and tidied the fridge freezer yesterday, hopefully I'll be able to find things now.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.15 -
Morning allNo watering of the garden today as we are expecting rain. I'm sure the local farmers will be pleased but I put a wash on last night and won't able to hang it out today. I should have checked the weather forecast first!Bathroom to be finished off today. He says he'll be done by lunchtime so that's good news. He had to unexpectedly leave early yesterday to pick his kids up from school so we had to use the downstairs loo overnight as he couldn't fit the loo before he had to leave. Thank goodness we had one!I'll do some hoovering and dusting upstairs when he's gone and get everything back where it belongs.Ruby hope it's good news about Rob, fingers crossed for himHave a good day all.13

Morning again.@Scarlet - the micro suction procedure is fab and the results immediate. Hope it's fine for you.@Camelot - you'll love the produce which grows from all the incessant watering.@SO - great work, doing the fridge freezer is such a chore.@Ruby - my fingers are crossed that Rob can continue in the placement.Yesterday I ended up doing a full day at school and fitted in collecting my almost forgotten gilet from the laundry. The lovely chap there was talking to a bewildered American visitor who had not been given instructions for the WM in his holiday cottage. He had brought in some clothes which the shop washed and dried for free. Great customer service from them. This morning I have my long-awaited appointment with the hip surgeon. I have only a smidgen of hope that there are ways to resolve my ongoing problem though I have a sliver of expectation. Afterwards, lunch will be the chicken I should have had yesterday.I've already had a call with Amazon about an item which has been lost. Frustratingly, they have again changed their customer service to only connect with a bot. It took me ages to get through to a human being, who was very swift to process a refund and was lovely with it.There may be some sunshine in the air, early on the sea had a beautiful layer of fret hovering over it which has now gone. The fabulous weather is due to finish on Friday so I shall soak up what offerings from the sun are coming today.I hope that all are well. A sprinkle of hugs to all.12

Morning all
Yesterday was a blur - a couple of hours at college followed by mowing the lawn, walking Bdog, cleaning inside windows and some outside, sorting out and dusting a large bookshelf, and cutting and pinning some fabric. I was tired!
Today I have an appointment to have 1 or 2 skin lesions removed - just at the GP, luckily one of our Drs does a weekly clinic so only had to wait a few weeks and don’t have to battle a large hospital. I’m sure it’ll be fine, they’re not sinister, will likely be inconvenient re showering etc until the stitches are removed.Hope everyone has a good day and those with good weather can enjoy it before it changes.AA13 -
Morning all
Its pouring with rain here and will be off and on all day, the garden will enjoy it but not so much me !Rob coming today and we are off to work to do some baking he loves it there so should be a good day, yesterday we went for our walk and it was so hot they were all sweating by the time we got back to the car we got in and I put the air con on and all three were asleep within minutes 😃 it was a peaceful drive home.
Dinner tonight will be pork chops mash and veg, dd is working late shift so just OH and I here for dinner. No washing to do this morning or not enough for a full load.
I bought a couple of new dresses for my holiday last night and a new pair of Birkenstocks so I think I have everything I need now, I don’t really need any more shoes but they are a bit like plants and jump into the basket when you are not looking.
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Morning! I missed yesterday somehow..It's raining here at last, i keep going out to check my greenhose water butts [ two bins really] I had planned to got o a walled garden and a wander round a historical house but looks like it'll just be the house now..although I don't mind getting wet and I have an umbrella. Did the blacks wash yesterday luckily, the colours can wait untl the weekend or whenever [ there are never any whites not even towels, too difficult to keep white, life is too short for extra wash additives] I have to make a ham and leek pe for tomorrow when we go to OHs mums. I volunteered as she cooks for us once every two weeks and it's a bit unfair to keep expecting them to foot the bill. Have to go out to get the boiling ham in a bit. And get a cookbook out...WL are you playing at the folk festival in Chippenham this weekend? Camelot, ouch, hope it heals quickly! TA, hope you've sorted some temporary specs. Ruby, fingers crossed. But if his mother isn't capable of looking after herself surely they can't say she can look after Rob too? Izzy, one more day to go!
to yuor diamond backside but keep him till you've plucked them out! Scarlet, huzzah to the last radio session too. Gers, happy new dish! And fingers crossed for hip result. Allie, won't they burn them off? They did that for Ohs, left a scar though. Take care today all....
