Morning,
It’s the weekend at last and half term has been survived 😂.
Long stressful day at work yesterday, but did manage to get some Vinted listings done, 3 of which sold straight away for £20. Takes my total for this (pay) month so far to £70. Not too shabby. Will get these items on their way today.
No real plans for the weekend. DS has football both mornings but should hopefully have the afternoons to get more decluttering done - I’m on a mission now! May do another car boot tomorrow depending on the weather.
Does anyone else feel like they constantly need to get their act together? I feel that in my mid 40s I’m still overwhelmed by adulting! I long for the day where a day off means I can sit and relax with a book because everything else has been taken care of! May be wishful thinking but I live in hope 🤣
Have a great weekend 🤩3 -
Morning,
That’s the weekend been and gone! We’ve made a good dent in decluttering DS bedroom. His wardrobes done (decent stuff set aside for Vinted, some for car boot) and we’re a good half way through his toys and other stuff he’s accumulated! The house currently looks like a bombs gone off but it’s work in progress!
Did another car boot yesterday afternoon and made approximately £50. Will use this to pay DS football registration fee due next week.Have listed more on Vinted over the weekend and have made a couple more sales taking total so far since payday to £95.Jobs for this week
1. Apply for another job I’ve seen
2. Finish decluttering DS room
3. Sort airing cupboard, cupboard under stairs and cupboard in spare room.
4. At least one bag to charity shop0 -

May be wishful thinking but I live in hope 🤣2 very long days at work out the way and now a non working day for me!Got so much to do around the house, so it definitely won’t be restful but will take some time sit down and reassess the budget for the rest of the month and my plan of action.
Desperate to get back out running but leg is still saying no. I think I need to concentrate on doing some cardio and strength that won’t aggravate it as can feeling my fitness disappearing 😩.
Vinted sales have continued to do pretty well - now up to £105 which is funding my emergency fund (target £500 for now). Have got loads more to list so just concentrating on little and often. My car needs MOT and service at the end of the month, slightly nervous as it’s the first one since I bought it last year - hopefully all should be ok. Will phone the garage today and get it booked in.
The decluttering mission is continuing. Will pull together another charity bag to drop off at work tomorrow. Hopefully drop some bits off at school too if they’ll take it!Right - I’m going to have another cuppa and then get cracking!!!!0 -
You are doing great, and seem really motivated. Keep going ! Well done on clearing the Next card.
