Just discovered a quick hack for anyone with an Edge Savings Account with Santander. If you have had your account for over a year your interest rate will have dropped from 6% down to 4%. Here is the hack........Close the account and then open a new Edge Savings Account. This will boost your interest back up to 6% for twelve months. It is a bit of a faf but I simply went into my local Santander and got them to do it in branch.

Old news and certainly not a hack. We've been doing that for years. Can be done in minutes using online banking, faff-free.0
