Universal Credit Review

Options
How long after your review did you hear back from them and what was outcome?

I had a review with Universal Credit 5 weeks ago and have heard nothing back since.

There could have been an issue with my finances as during the period that they had requested bank statements for, I was the executor of estate of a deceased relative and had over 100k in my account which was not mine but was to be distributed as per the will.

I explained all this on my review call but have heard nothing since and have now had 2 payment dates where I've not recieved statement or any form of payment

Hmm... this sounds abnormal. To be honest for the basic reviews (requesting 4 months bank statements etc and a short phone call) within minutes of the call they seem to confirm 'payments are correct' and review is over with a journal message. That seems not to have happened so they could indeed still be looking at information provided.

I wonder if people would advise to prompt them by journaling (about a payment) something like 'I've gone 2 assessment periods with no payments can this be resolved.'

Would your U/C entitlement be affected after the estate as per will is distributed?

    That is odd.

I haven't heard about mine, I don't know if it's complete or not (per Muttley's description above, it sounds like possibly not), but I have still had my usual payment in the meantime.

@Planeahead I assume that you have looked on your UC account/journal?
5 weeks / 2 payment dates is possible, but what (if anything) do the statements for those two APs say about why nothing has been paid?
If there are no statements then I would be asking why not.

Mine was closed a few minutes after the phone review.
I would to chasing it up as they have left you in limbo.

TBH, the logical explanation is they have closed the UC claim due to the amount in the accounts.
No mention that OP has checked journal to see if any notes in there.

Like above we got a call & message in journal within a hour to say all was fine & will continue as before.

Hindsight is a great thing, but why do people in cases such as this, use their own accounts..

As I understand it then once a UC claim has been closed you can no longer access the Journal, (or maybe only until the end of that AP?), you can still access the statements.
I'm willing to be corrected on that if anyone knows for sure how it works these days.
