Hiya,
This is not a rip off moan just gripe.
Last year i got an adoption for an animal at london zoo for a donation, for the donation you adopt a critter and get a free ticket to enter zoo.
As the pensioner i got present for couldnt go in that year i mailed the zoo to see if they would carry ticket over to 08, i offered to send in original ticket as proof it hadnt been used.
Not a chance, as Terms and conditions state i was told in no uncertain terms that came with ticket and adoption.
I told them the money for adoption i gave didnt come with terms and conditions just a kind hearted thought for my friend and the critters.
They werent interested, never again.
This is a sign of the times ,all take and no give.
Now thats off my chest i feel better.

Sounds like a response from a corporate numbskull.

I'd try again but send your request to the person at the top.

It's no good them stating what it says in the T&C's, you can read those, you can see what they say. Your question wasn't asking what the T&C's say.

State your aware of what the T&C's say, say you were delighted to have been able to support their critter. Say how disappointed the pensioner is of not being able to visit the zoo.

Inform them of how damaging to their reputation their first reply is.
