Gatwick. Reg not showing

Hi I recently did an airport drop off
i Tried to pay but my reg didn’t appear so I couldn’t pay
since been fined by NCP
I appealed but it’s rejected - no reason why
when I appealed one of the drop down options was something like ‘reg not showing’ so this must be common
anyway am I now forced to pay up? I guess I can’t prove my ref wasn’t showing? Thanks as always

Look in the airport parking pcn thread. Write in the correct fashion and they mostly fold.2

I guess I can’t prove my ref wasn’t showing? It's actually up to them to prove your ref was showing. If it ever went to court. Which is highly unlikely.1

It's not a "fine"!0

Have I missed my opportunity now though as I appealed and they rejected and said to appeal with POPLA?0

Your next "opportunity" is to appeal with POPLA but on procedural, contractual, law terms not what happened on the day, have you read the advice above and in the newbies thread?1

No but you have binned your guaranteed 100% win by saying/implying or ticking a box to tell them who was driving! You'd have seen it off with one email, if you came here first.Braquo99_2 said:Have I missed my opportunity now though as I appealed and they rejected and said to appeal with POPLA?
You CERTAINLY do not pay this.
You could try a complaint to NCP as well as POPLA. Threaten a further complaint to the BPA and to the CMA for a 'misleading omission' (breach of the CPUTRS under the new CMA powers in the DMCC Act 2025).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"or use the ‘i was not the driver?"Can you truthfully tick that... is it true?
How to appeal to POPLA is fully covered in the 3rd post of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
