Gladstones LBC help!

Hello, I've read the newbies thread and trawled the forum, but still unsure as to which approach I should take in disputing the 'debt' past on to Gladstones from a Euro Parking Services PCN.

I received the PCN last year, after parking in a service station forecourt. At the time, I had a slow puncture and would often park at the service station by the tyre pump, nip into the Tesco next door to get cash out/get change if I didn't have any and then use they tyre pump at the service station. On one occasion, while doing this, the Tesco cash machine was broken, so couldn't get change and then use the tyre pump so had to drive off.

I then received a PCN from Euro Parking Services, charging me £60 for parking on their land for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I didn't leave the vehicle, it was my partner who left the car as a passenger to try and get cash for the tyre pump. I ignored the PCN and subsequent follow up letters, hoping it'd go away, but now I have a letter before claim from Gladstones, asking me to pay £160.

Long story short, do you think I'm in a position to successfully dispute the charge and not pay, or am I up the creek?

Any advice will be appreciated, thanks!
