We've written a guide to Beating Airport Drop Off Charges and would appreciate your feedback. How did you find the info? Was it useful? Do you have any other tips you'd add?
Thanks for your help!MSE Jenny K

Very useful article for drop off charges but nobody ever seems to mention "pick up" processes and charges. For example, at Manchester Airport there is a a free drop off point at Jet Parks and passengers can then use the free shuttle bus to get to the terminals, but as far as I am aware, it is not available in reverse. It is not advertised whether or not returning passengers can use the same shuttle buses to take them to the same area so they can be picked up for free. I think people do it, but I don't know if it is officially allowed. It would be useful if this could be clarified for each airport because most passengers who are dropped off will ultimately have to be picked up at some point.0

The Leeds Bradford 'free' option needs expanding.
There is a one hour free option which is OK for those able to walk to the terminal. For disabled passengers there is also free parking in the mid stay car park disabled parking area which is adjacent to the car park free shuttle bus stop.

There is no drop-off/pick up charge at Leeds-Bradford Airport for electric vehicles. This is explained on their website as follows:
"We allow EV's to use our pick up and drop off car park free of charge for up to 1 hour. Max 2 visits per day. The exit barrier will automatically charge you the standard fare, please press the help button and our car park team will be able to verify your EV and allow you to exit without charge. We are not able to provide retrospective refunds."
Perhaps the same applies at some other airports, I haven't checked.0
