Have to say that even I'm very shocked that they are doing this, it really is getting too far.    I dumped Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify etc. when the prices suddenly shot up.   I've got Disney Plus on a freebie through Lloyds bank but it's the ad version - I'd be fuming if it started tell me I was breaking the T&Cs by muting.

Cannot see the Mentalist on Prime (I know at least some of it has been on there before), I know all 7 seasons are on NOW tv.

I hate ads so much I just pay for the ad free prime - not MSE but worth it.

I had a better idea when Amazon increased the price and then started putting adverts in as well with
an option to pay even more to remove the adverts.  I cancelled prime so they now get nothing and
I started buying more on ebay again.

Not bought anything from Amazon for months, if there is something not on ebay I check Amazon and
see if the seller runs their own shopping website.

I don't use eBay. Bad experience a few years ago and I've never gone back.

I actually try to shop in physical shops rather than online generally.

Physical shops? What are they?   :)

Nightmare to find somewhere to park so rarely worth the effort, they wonder why many high streets are empty.
They should try parking at a high street and see how they get on. Rarely can you park for long enough to
goto all the shops and have a drink or a snack.

60 or 90 minutes max parking, my wife can spend longer than that in a single section of a store nevermind
    stop for a relaxing lunch.

Bought her a laptop and a tablet so usually no need for the high street anymore. Sad but they made the silly rules.

OP, I have watched Prime quite a lot and the ads aren't that intrusive to be honest. Longest ad break I've seen is 1 minute. Are you sure you were watching Prime TV? I do know that the sky stream and/or Now TV ad breaks are much longer , although I can skip through those fortunately. I've never known Prime put a warning message up about volume either. As above, the Mentalist only available to buy on Prime at the minute, you can stream on My5, or via Now TV.

BTW, there are loads of places you can shop physically either on the high street or at shopping parks. I prefer it tbh

I've shopped 100% on line for years, mostly Amazon and Ocado. If I was paying for Prime it would still be worth it to get say a 4 pack of twix/snickers etc with free delivery for the same price (or less) than a shop - Being 6 miles or so from a supermarket is worth it for rural living.

I'll see if I can get a photo of the warning message but it sort of flashes which makes it difficult.
