How much for an internal wall?

Could any one give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to get a wood/plasterboard type wall built in my front room? The room is approx 15' across, it's to make a bedroom for my daughter, so don't want a permanent brick type wall as it may be coming down again in a few years time!
Would I be better asking a builder or would a handyman type person be OK?

depends where abouts you are in the country.
I'm based in East yorkshire and it doesn't sound like a major job, there are many variables that could affect the price but assuming you arn't based in central London you should get a wall built for under £500.

handyman would certainly do a job like that.
    less than 500 quid.
    without the plastering if required?
wallpaper over the PB to keep the cost down?
    Get some gorm.

£500 seems about right for a stud wall and skim to me.
