I don't think the OP is looking for pity for his brother and i don't agree he won't find it anywhere, his brother's situation, through no fault of his own, does not sound nice. At the end of the day pity and sympathy are free to give and i think some people, like me, will feel sorry for him.

I think the OP is simply asking for advice.

To get constructive advice they need to answer the questions.

Thanks rveryone. All I know is he's recieved correspondence stating he owes it all back. You're right I haven't put any other facts, I just wasted to try asking trying to help him even though I have my own issues. Thought best to try MSE first. Sorry if people think I'm not posting enough info. I do struggle to understand some facts. Sorry again

No need to be sorry. You are trying to help your brother.

Howver, for anybody to help they need more information.


Some payments have to be repaid and some don’t.
Without knowing what payments he got we cannot help you.

Th OP might be able to better help their Brother by suggesting the Brother registers for the site and puts their own question with the pertinent information to allow informed comment.
