The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a Prestige room at Palazzo Ripetta – a five-star, family-owned hotel in Rome. Between the Palazzo di Popolo and Augustus’s Mausoleum this Relais & Châteaux property occupies a 17th-century convent, and offers 78 bedrooms, decked out with jewel-toned colours and Murano chandeliers. There is art by Arnaldo Pomodoro and Andy Warhol, while the Salone Bernini – once a church – houses a Triga fresco. The hotel also offers out-of-hours tours of the Sistine Chapel.
The prize includes one dinner for two (excluding drinks) at its restaurant San Baylon, as well as a drink at Etere, its rooftop bar. It also includes a flight budget of £300, and must be taken before December 20, 2025, subject to availability and excluding November 1 and December 8.
