This week we're excited to announce our latest competition, in partnership with The Butler Collection, a highly curated portfolio of Sussex cottages and holiday properties that only includes the best of the best.

The lucky winner will receive a two-night stay at The Bakery for up to six people (four adults & two children). They'll also enjoy some lovely extras courtesy of The Butler Collection's complimentary, personal concierge service: a private wine tasting and cheeseboard one evening, a 'breakfast in bed' hamper, and a bottle of sparkling wine from a local vineyard on arrival.

The competition starts at 10:00am on Friday, May 16th, 2025, and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, and the winner will be announced within 7 days.

1. This promotion is open to UK residents, excluding employees of Cool Places and The Butler Collection, their families, affiliates and anyone else directly connected with the promotion.

2. Entrants must be 18 years or over.

3. To qualify for this competition, entrants must sign up to the Cool Places and The Butler Collection newsletters via the 'Enter Competition' button above. If you are already signed up, you can of course still enter.
3.1. We accept no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or telephone malfunction or other such causes. We are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third-party websites that misstate or omit any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion.
3.2. All entrants who enter between the two key dates will be entered into a draw and the winner will be picked at random, within 7 days of the closing date.

3.4. The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the competition closing. The winner must accept their prize within 7 days of being notified. The winner's name may be published on www.coolplaces.co.uk and social media platforms, and may be used in other marketing emails.

3.5. Information/content about the prize may be used by The Butler Collection for marketing purposes.

4. The prize is subject to availability, and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, must be taken by the named prize winner, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, or discounts. The winner is responsible for transport to and from their chosen location.
4.1 Once booked, this prize cannot be reused or rescheduled.
4.2. The prize draw will be open until the end time/date detailed on the original competition source. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the prize draw.
4.3. The prize is based on a two-night stay at The Bakery in Arundel, West Sussex (a Butler Collection property), for up to six people (four adults and two children).

4.4. 4.4. The prize is valid for one year – dates are subject to availability and exclusions apply, including bank holidays and Goodwood dates (2025 and 2026): Festival of Speed (Thursday, July 10th, 2025 – Sunday, July 13th, 2025) and Goodwood Revival (Friday, September 12th, 2025 – Sunday, September 14th, 2025 ). Goodwood 2026 dates are TBC – if the winner books their prize and those dates are subsequently announced as Goodwood dates, they will need to reschedule.

4.5. The prize must be booked with The Butler Collection directly.
4.6. Standard The Butler Collection accommodation and booking policies/terms and conditions apply – please read them before redeeming the prize.
4.7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the competition promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the specified prize become unavailable.
4.8. The promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion and any prize issued in the event of major catastrophe, war, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond the promoter’s control.

4.9. The promoters cannot be held liable for any failure by third parties to fulfil their obligations or for any acts or omissions outside their control. However, the promoters will endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure.
